No disrespect to anyone but the part # is listed in the guide . I know Holbrook can read and the NHRA tech people could read the number on the head. I think we can all agree on that . Call it what you want but it was the wrong casting number for the head .

The Fact is that Holbrook did use the wrong head's when the numbers were clearly visible to everyone and went 1500 miles to try and set a national record with the wrong numbers on the heads. He did not get tossed , got no HP and the AHFS failed

Charlie, call me and I will give you someone who will tell you that people have set national records at opens and been sealed up to tear down later , got the hp, when they torn down they failed and the HP stayed on . This person is well known and a long time racer 30 plus years

The only point I'm trying to make is that there should not be a loop hole in setting a national record that circumvent's the AHFS system

Hats off to Jim Collins and company for checking those casting numbers
