My Duster bracket car on a *great* run at Norwalk would go 11.50's, 11.80's at Quaker City in the middle of the summer. One year at the $10K Footbrake at Maple Grove, we scraped ice off the windshield... -1700' below... 11.28! Similarly, in the eighth mile, it's typically a 7.30-7.40 car. A couple years ago in the fall, I put the radials on it at Roxboro and went 7.16... made a couple of adjustments and belted out a 7.09. (Even when bracket racing, there's still a little bit of Class racer in us!) My dad about fell out of his chair when I told him! LOL
