What is wrong with weight to cubic inch Super Stockers? I think that the limited teardown inspection appeals to many racers in these classes. What do they check these days? Weight, fuel, trans brake wiring and carb size? The thing I have learned over the last 35 years is that complaining rarely ever gets something changed. It happens less than bigfoot sightings. The people that care about bogus HP ratings are not employed by the NHRA. It is you and they don't really care for you, the racer. They want your money, not your opinion (even if it is a popular opinion that makes sense). Listening stops once the money exchanges hands. Expect this to continue until you quit racing. There have been some dandy people that have worked for NHRA and there are still some of the good guys around. Enjoy the good guys that actually have some knowledge right now, because they seem to be in short supply nowadays and more leave every year it seems.
