Deepest Sympathy from Waibel Competition. Doug was a true friend, mentor, fellow racer, and great man. We will truly miss him at the track and just a phone call away. Go rest high on the track in the sky!
We just talked to Doug a few days ago and he never even told us that he was having a problem. He didnt want us to worry... Just talked to us as though everything was just fine. I took a picture of Doug and Norma at Gainesville last year and I believe it to be the last time she was able to be with him at the track and maybe the last race he was at. I am sure that the family would want this.. you will be missed!
