I have not had the same luck with the Craftsman Alum jack. I found out the hard way that the same warranty for hand tools does not apply to their floor jack. Just past having for a year and it stopped lifting 100% of max height. Not sure if it is made anymore, but supposedly not rebuildable. This is the one I have.
