THEY WORK!!!---almost the same weight as a SFI stamped steel flexplate,machined not stamped out truer tolerances overall , not prone to cracking in the crank bolt area,replaceable starter ring gear, can run a smaller flexplate(dia), keeps the engine up on the RPM not as much drop off, can run a smaller bolt circle on the torque converter less weight there, can use a smaller dia torque convertor--- other than that no advantages over a stamped steel flexplate---FED387
