I am thinking of upgrading my pump.It seems to me that the Aeromotive A 2000 would be a good/better choice than a "SS".
Any thoughts?
You are correct. Again, I have yet to see "too much fuel pump". Most people who put a really big fuel pump on see gains in MPH, and improved consistency. We took a BG 250 off and put a MagnaFuel 500 on, the car picked up some MPH, and it is deadly consistent. And that's with a 4150 style 4 barrel.

The small block stick car we had was equipped with an Aeromotive 2000, which fed the Q-Jet easily. Although we never went through the engine, so it was tired and a little slow, it was stone consistent, and never did anything odd at the top of the track. And it still ran a decent MPH despite being dead tired and outdated.
