maybe the new rule was is in a effect when they assign the first three pairing q# 33 vs 66,32 vs 65,31 vs 64.I bet they where not in the lanes in time.

stole this from another thread

new rule

"Below is a new policy that has been adopted for our D-1 LODRS events (Opens are random pairing first round). This should help alleviate some of the delays in getting the morning started. I believe this will also be in effect at all National Events and I believe will be adopted for all 7 Divisions. We will post the ladder with the first 3 pairs Highlighted on the ladder.

The first three pairs to run in the first round of eliminations will be designated on the ladder. These will be the pairs of the three lowest qualifiers in the field, regardless of which side of the ladder they may be on. I.e. for a 90-car ladder this would be #45 vs. #90; #44 vs. #89 and #43 vs. #88 qualifiers. The balance of the eliminator field is to immediately follow the designated pairs. Large size fields will initially be called to the lanes as the designated pairs and right side of the ladder. The three designated pairs must be in the lanes and ready when eliminations are called. Failure to be at the head of the lanes ready to run may result in single runs."
