67Camaro-- put clear plastic in the openings behind the front valance below the bumper-- removed the outer front bumper brackets--removed all non essential hood brackets/braces---filled in the panel in front of the windshield where the wipers come thru BUT we but in Chrome plugs where the holes were supposed to be replaced every single bolt & screw I could with ALUMINUM bolts instead of steel bolts on the entire car---used 68 Chevy II 4 cylinder radiator- aluminum water pump from an Army personell carrier before they were legal--removed the back 1/4 window regulators ---removed the rear seat and when we carpeted the backrest rest area we made 2 panels put our weight box in between them ----1/2 plate steel gas tank shield between the top of the tank and the trunk floor---used a Vega gas tank smaller/narrower but still looks like the Camaro tank--removed absolutely everything under the dash that we did not need--had a 150 pound spare tire (courtesy of Butch Leal)--went thru tech numerous times and the only thing we ever got caught on was the outer bumper brackets and eventually the plastic behind the grille and in the lower valence panel-----this Car could weigh as little as 2795 and as much as 3600 pounds---Wesley/Pappy/Valentine/Gibbs/ Barrett/ Daniels/Danish all checked this car at one time or another
