The car was way lighter than they said so the guys took a NYC manhole cover and put it in the trunk. Then dumped it on the return road. So they could put it in after the race.
I went to that track in the 90's and the manhole cover was still there.
Hey Art, remember that old rotted Buick Wildcat that ran in the nines, wonder what was in it. Do you have any pics of your old 65 Dart with the 413.
