They set the record @ colonial beach with the car @ 11.11.As the rules changed I believe around 72 they could run a 10" tire Petty engineering heads & also went to 4.56's the car went a 10.86 right off the trailer.I have tons of info on the car as I was in search of it about 2 years ago trying to locate it to buy it back to give to my dad.Last I heard a doctor has the car in New Jersey.Called him a few times & never got a response.I would love to have a chance to get it but it just does not seem like it is in the cards.Anyway any other info you would like message me.

Hi GRNCPE
Rember Sonny well. He was a hard racer with a very fast car
(PINK PANTHER). I sold my crew cab and trailer,or rather traded them to him for a new crewcab Ford F350 body and frame Around the time he purchased the Plymouth. Sonny painted the rig pink ,the same color as the car. Made a good looking pair going down the road.
Ran Sonny at Colonial Beach with my SS/A Cuda for the money one Sunday during a SS show. He took the money. I said he had a fast car.
