Thank you guys for your responses. I normally do ship everything in boxes or crates but this time I did not require this to be done. I was told that when it was finally wrapped in plastic you could barely tell what was on the pallet. Thank you to Tom Sheehan for posting the pic for me.

Just saw this. We ship pallet loads "shrink" wrapped all the way up to oversize 50+ foot skids. The Pro number should have been assigned at pick up. Did they give you a copy of the B/L and who signed for it at that address? I've had engine parts delivered on a skid to the house but I don't think they do that here anymore, you have to go get it at the terminal. Did it change freight carriers enroute? (Sadly you have discovered the new corp. America, I was told they are not concerned with the quality of their product or service as it cuts into their Golf week $ at the Masters:-) We'd file a claim for the full amount. It was mentioned to file a police report, you'd need that even for a theft tax loss next year correct?
