We left before dark last night and saw about 30 or so deer as we went up I-24 and I-57. Then after dark about 9:30 we hit the deer that we didn't see until it was too late. Larry put on the brakes, but was probably still going 55 when we hit it. We got lucky as it only messed up the plastic bumper cover. But it just missed the transmission oil cover!

Ah, roadkill on the grill later? What is the proper wine for venison? All kidding aside, have a great time and good luck.
