It's not as soft as you'd think. The weak intake (unless it has a much better intake than most of the oval port Q-Jet 427's I've seen) and the small (.398" lift) hydraulic cam will make it hard to feed those extra cubic inches. Most of the guys I know who have to run that real small hydraulic cam really struggle.
