Yes, I was aware of that even before I read this thread. Whether off the showroom floor or over the counter these cars are cool and have a place in history. I'm not trying to set a national record, just out to tinker and have fun and being that I have the car and a few of the "over the counter parts", I figured why not.
A front engined rail with a blown 392 will never again win an NHRA national event but it will always have so much more than a modern dragster.
