We did race!!!!
On Sat. it was cold and windy or I may say... it was miserable.
However We had a 20 car field with Dale Findell (F/SA Barracuda) coming out on top and Scott Dougdale (I/S 1967 CHEVELLE) was the runner-up.
Tim Lisson WAS#1 qualifier ( I/SA 1987 FIERBIRD)

On Sun. we had a 22 car field with Tim Lisson ( I/SA 1987 FIERBIRD) over Maxine Line
(F/SA 1968 CHEVELLE).
Lance Line was #1 qualifier (1969 MUSTAN A/SA )

From my point of view, I would say one of the highlights of the weekend as a 1/4 final matchup between Maxine Line and multi time National event champ and DIVION 5
stand- out, Brett Speer.
Maxine Line put together a "Mothers Day Package" of just .0010 to hold off Speer.
with a .005 light and a 11.355 on an 11.35!

Tim Lisson, After years of hard work as found "the combination" and has his car flying and went directly to the final for his first win of the season.

All in all it was a good race & it felt good to get back in the car & make a few runs!

Our car count was a bit low but I think the weather may have played a roll in that.

I would like to thank all who came to BIR and raced the S/SS combo with us this weekend
I am hopeful that our car count will be up for the next combo!

Who is going to the Midwes Class Racers S/SS combo & Div. 5 National Open at Top End Dragway (FARGO) ?
