I have seen manual conversions that have master cylinder in wrong location,manual and power are located different,
Check where master cylinder is mounted,when they are converted to manual brakes if master cylinder is put back in same location it will not have enough leverage,manual brake master cylinder was located high,where the top studs for booster was,usaully pedal will have hole but no pin,I grind swedge off pin and knock out w/punch and move to higher hole and then weld to retain,if this is case you will also have to fab new plate for firewall
MAKE SURE pushrod retained so that it can't come out of master cylinder,I usaully take piston out of cylinder and drill recess that rod sits in to a hole about 1/2-3/4 deep for rod to go up inside of piston. Have a positve retention method on pushrod where no way can it come out of master cylinder
