If a track is having problems with a traction compound that we all know has worked forever, the first place to look would either be in contamination of any cutting agent (i.e., toplube in the alcohol... heard of that happening on several occasions), or contamination of the traction compound itself. There is nothing inherently wrong with PJ1/VHT, and it has been proven time and time again to be the best product out there.
Sure Michael, it's the same product. They just changed the name. Well, they also changed the sticky surface we are use to as well! I have also researched everything and know they claim to have just changed the name of VHT to PJ1. They also claim it is the same product and everyone must be cutting the cpompund too much...It's everyone's fault but PJ1. I just hope they find a solution. I hate to think that I will have to put another 100 pounds in the trunk to hook up.
