Ok, you are now about the 5th person that I have a ton of respect for that knows how to tune these cars. To a person they have all wanted to deep six the BS3.
My major issue with it is that I cannot be guaranteed that any change I made was actually taken so I cannot tell if the change hurt or helped the car. And, yes, I did all of the goofy rubbing your belly and patting your head steps it requires to accept the change, but the changes disappear.
And what is up with the 30 minute logging time out? Have the designers ever been through the fuel check at Indy? It takes 30 minutes to get to the scales after a run a lot of the time.
It gives me zero confidence to tune a car with a BS3. I have enough noise in my head trying to figure out what is happening behind the scenes without this added complication. I have NEVER had any issues of this sort with a FAST and the Holley system appears to be as user friendly in different way.
