IT WAS A REAL NICE DAY!
WE FINALY HAD SOME SUN!!
On Saturday:
Terry Johnson in his SS/M Mustang was the winner over
Lance Line in his #1 qualifying B/SA 69 Mustang.
The race went off without any trouble at all. We had a good time and BIR has a concert "Lakes Jam" with headliner REO SPEEDWAGON tonight!
I can't see what else you could ask for in entertainment.
We had some of the new challengers & a new C/J Mustang racing with us but no new COPOS yet. It's just a matter of time.
It seems that the number of cars stays the same 20-24.
However the cars that are showing up vary.
If we could just get EVERYONE to show at one BIR event we would have one heck of a deal going here.
I hear that new things are on the horizon for the S/SS groups Midwest Class Racers & United Sportsman Assn. Sounds like good things are ahead!
We need to stick together and support this type of racing.
