I guess I should have rephrased my question. With my current dual valve springs and tool steel retainers with standard locks I have more height from the spring pad to the underside of the retainer then when I install the beehive retainer and standard locks.

I was just wondering if this is normal. There is rougly 0.120 in the difference.
