Bub Whitaker of Whitaker Racing Engines and Burtonsville Performance Machine is the latest to throw support behind the Northern Class Nationals' Friday night Quick 32 Comp-style CIC races. The top 32 qualifiers in each eliminator on Go-Fast Friday will earn the right to compete in the FREE ENTRY Stock Quick 32 and Super Stock Quick 32! The purses will be sponsor-supported, so we challenge other engine builders and performance industry companies to add to the pot! It all goes to the racers!
Qualifiers will be paired on a sportsman ladder, handicapped off their class index, and then the first to the finish line wins! A -1.25 under CIC (Competition Index Control) trigger will be in place, similar to that used in Competition Eliminator. (Remember, we will be running off of what is essentially the "old" NHRA indexes... add .30 to the existing NHRA indexes).
