Default Re: Reformating LODRS

I like Chad's idea of adding more divisions. That would help cut down on traveling costs and time off of work. Maybe split D-1 and D-2 into three divisions. (D-1 would be Maryland north, new D-2 would be maybe NC, VA, east TN and KY, and the new D-3 would be SC south) Maybe the same thing can be done with the current D-3 and D-5 by splitting them into three divisions as well. (New D-4 would be MI, IN, OH, new D-5 would be MN, WI, IL maybe IA, and new D-6 would be the western half of the old D-5) Not sure if I can help the other divisions shrink.

I think the doubles idea might work but only at events that don't have alcohol cars. And that's a maybe. I like the idea of 1 or 2 Q runs Friday, 1 Saturday morning and right into the race, but I think if you do doubles you gotta start race 2 Saturday night and eliminate all the shootouts.

And yes, increased payouts would most definitely help, but lets be honest...that's not going to happen!
