When we built my car, when it came to headers and collectors, we have a clamp around the collector or muffler which bolts to the frame. Adding a teather to my car is redundant. It is not going to provide any more safety. I wonder what will happen when a collector comes off, and is teathered on a car like a super comp dragster, and now it is swinging around in the air as the car is going down the strip. All the pictures of the above, I agree need teathers, if fact I thing they need to be double teathered, to make sure they stay on.
