Yep, seen tons of them in comp cars myself and have read the opinions of some saying they are junk due to too much gear deflection which causes rapid wear and breakage. I figured in an automatic stocker since there is no big driveline shock they might just hold up fine.

I may just call Mark Williams and see if that offset pinion carrier is still available. I like it over the Strange deal for a few reasons:

1. It's very stealthy
2. Could be used with things like a through bolt carrier for more rigidity
3. If the 12 bolt gear deal doesn't work out, you still have a carrier you can just put a 9" gear into
