OH Don, I have seen him red lite in competition. He ran my little red Camaro with Beard driving. He turned on the bulb just a fraction of a second before Beard did, too. I wish we had unscrewed those red bulbs for that run. He and I had been in a dialing dual in the lanes, over Beards objections, and I think we were down to holding about the same number. We both wanted to leave last. Both cars were probably very equal in E.T.'s & MPH. That would have been a pretty good race at the stripe.
Need I point out that he is human just like you and me. When it comes to racing He just has a better skill set so he has trained & polished himself a little (a lot)
better than most of us. I've always thought that individuals like him have "Earned" respect, not criticism.
