Launching a street car at 3000 RPM is a lot different than leaving at 5500-6000RPM. Twisted the mainshaft on 1 trans, broke a main case on the other, also had a slider pile up on the hub. If you retain the stock mainshaft, that is a weak li9nk, regardless on how much HP the trans shop says the gears are good to.
