Default Re: Mike edwards / modified eliminator

The Maverick that Mike Edwards had was originally the Super Stock Magazine car owned and driven by Arlen Fadely.

Here's a pic of it at an NHRA Div. 5 points race at my local track, Thunder Valley Dragways in Marion, South Dakota:

Here's one when it was owned by Arlen Fadely. It was a project car built to compete in the then-new Super Modified class(es).

Super Modified was the brainchild of Car Craft's Ric Vogelin and Norm Mayersohn and was created as an affordable way to race in Modified Eliminator. Car Craft did the Vogelin/Mayersohn Camaro and SS&DI did the Fadely Maverick.
