I have to comment on the 'award' ceremony honoring Jeg Coughlin as 2013 Mellow Yellow Pro Stock Champion.
I understand there are the official ceremonies the next evening but...if you are going to try and sell your sport on TV, please have a respectable ceremony.
A person holding a 'swaying in the wind' cardboard check in the background...a Mellow Yellow corporate rep...,I assume, a drunk/uncaring/I don't want to be here looking Tom Compton on the other side...cheesy overgrown sparklers...what a shame.
As a drag race fan...its embarrassing.
No kudos or words from Compton, no words from 'Corporate'. Sad sad sad....just my opinion.
