My dragster headers have mounting tabs on all for primaries where the collector bolts up w/ stainless hardware w/ nylon inserted lock nuts. The parts to make these kits are 10-20 bucks if that and the companies are making 1000% on the mark up.

If you're using "nylock" nuts on your exhaust, you should be first in line for the tether set up. I do agree however that you should be able to make your own under the guide lines NHRA provides.
