Being a part of Class Racer has helped me to a better person. I haven't class raced since 1973, but still enjoy the cars, the competition and most of all the people. My handle has gotten me some fame locally. When I am at one of the s s/s combo races at our local track I am known as Carguy49. Makes me feel apart of the action. I have known some of the locals for over 35 years, and some I have known just a year or so. The conversations that some of us get into at the events are priceless. The website has allowed me to acknowledge some accomplishments of people , both local and far away, and to be involved in the sport that I love so much.
