CLASS RACER FORUM - View Single Post - 1970-72 classification of 68 chevelle ss 396/375

Not going to be a race car, just a street cruiser that look like it would have in 1970-72. Will have a 496 in it but everything outside would be period correct. Can someone run the numbers and tell me if it would have been a ss/d e or f car? Was the "a" added for automatic at this time? Thanks!
