He would not have been known much by the Stock/SS racers but hey he was a well known engine builder and racer. Anyone that did business with him or just spoke to him once came away feeling like he was a good man to do business with and he was.

I did business with his shop a little and spoke to him at length one evening on the phone. I am sorry I never got to meet him and even more sorry to learn of this tragedy. How and why it happened is probably very complicated but suffice it to say it is a tragedy, period.
