Re: EFI Fuel Pump

Walbro pumps have such a high failure rate, I will never use another one. My shop was very busy, we installed some of those since we could just call NAPA or O'Reily's and have one delivered quick. Had to eat too many. Borg Warner, etc , are about all reboxed Walbro. When the new pump weighs about half the orig pump, you can tell yourself "yep, plastic is lighter than brass." Went back to buying from the dealer's parts dept to keep customers happy. No voltage booster band-aids needed for a good pump.

Ed you are 100 % correct and the pumps that they had problems with were all replaced under warranty(I know but not the labour)
I've always been leery of the dual pump setups on forced induction applications..................what if one pump dies

Chad we use 2 pumps in a forced induction and the second pump turns on with a hobbs switch as boost rises.
