I think the best decision was made to reschedule based on the forecast. I don't think anyone would have thought it would have quit raining after they sent us back to the pits. However, as late as it was it would have become a problem for throttle stop and faster cars to get down the track. So, realistically, you probably could have only completed half of the classes that were left. We saw rain without anything on the radar, and we saw no rain with rain all over the radar. It just goes to show you how unpredictable mother nature is. Even meteorologists with years of experience, cannot accurately predict what the weather is going to do much of the time. Hats off to division director Trey Capps for working with everyone to reschedule. I wouldn't want to call any division other than D4 my home.
