Default Re: help w/ old 426 hemi piston part #

Thank's for replies guys
pistons are forged look like TRW's not sure who's part#.
Talked to Gary Thompson @ ABS products yesterday if you don't know him he's the balancing guru, he said around 3200gr. was about typical bobweight and they were all internally balanced.
Going to put heavy metal test weights on today and spin and find best spots and close to right amount of heavy metal,I know will be about 4'' worth give or take a little, counterweights are 1.250'' thick so get to drill 1'' hole 5'' deep all together.

BTW if anyone needs to know Eagle has heaviest counterweights they have 2550 gr. target weight they will balance w/o heavy metal, K-1 2350 gram Scat ?they make mopars also. I'm going to say about the same I was on tech chat w/ scat told had 3035gr, bobweight conversation endedLOL
