Re: Ebay
I consider the most evil thing, is the raking you for 10% of the final shipping fee.
Its not my fault, all the really good buyers are in California, and most of the east coast. The further you are away, the more it costs, and the bigger their cut. Its 10 percent on the shipping fee, because some used to sell at cheap prices, with jacked up shipping fees. I bet 90 percent of the people didn't use that practice, but now everyone pays for that.
I believe mandatory paypal is 2.5%
So it just adds cost to everything you buy, because the sellers have to add it into the business costs.
Now the real beware is DO NOT ship anywhere without tracking. If someone tells ebay their item didn't arrive, they refund the money out of your paypal account... right back to the buyer.
While you claim it was shipped, they only believe certain tracking numbers, and greyhound buslines isn't on the list.
They turned it into a scamming buyers market. A large number of people quit doing international sales through US Postal Service, because of the limits on tracking to certain countries.
Time for swap meets again.... I need more social events anyway
