Bret, monitoring manifold pressure with blown engines to make the racing as close as it is not would be a nightmare. Measuring pulleys sure won't do it. Impellers and internal case modifications will alter boost and boost curves. I doubt NHRA has anybody capable of policing that, or would want to. I do a lot of tuning for ATI Procharger, and have been through their plant several times. Different engines get different impellers, they all look the same to the untrained eye, and would take measuring (and knowing how & what to measure) to know the difference. I would be amazed if some Stockers & SS cars didn't now have, or end up with, modified blowers. They would need to develop and furnish blow-off valves like F1 does. And, just like Formula 1, somebody would figure out how to screw with them. Thinking measuring pulleys like they do now is all it takes is comical.
