IHRA's version of comp cars in SS only they can run 2 barrel single 4 or multiple carbs aftermarket heads and aluminum rods, the original intent was to use left over NASCAR parts which are plentiful and somewhat cheap down south and have a economical way to run SS like crate motor started out in stock we refer to them as alphabet cars due to their long and confusing class designations any factory available bore and stroke combo is allowed, from there it's induction and cubes to weigh like comp. oh and they are also allowed to run those silly oversize hood scoops kind of a cross between old MP cars and door comp cars
