Maybe y'all can help me out with something. I had someone message me, "Great job, with the weather you had to work with." A couple people in the lanes on Sunday commented, "The weather probably kept some people home."
As I looked up into the sky, my question was and is, "What weather?"
The weather did almost exactly what it's done for the last 10 years (actually better than several years), which I charted for everyone over a year ago. We told you what to expect, and that's what it did. While we were down for a couple of sprinkles for a few minutes here and there, it was literally from a couple of singular passing clouds -- historically, that's pretty standard. The weather history reports from this weekend show 0.00 from Thursday through Sunday -- nothing measurable! It was cool and windy. It would've been a little nicer if it wasn't so windy, but seriously, overall it was great racing weather. If you could GUARANTEE the weather that we had Thurs-Sun, I would take it every single time!
