Actually 2 door station wagons were quite common in the 50s, and into the early 60s. In your 66 years you have never seen a 55-57 Chevy Nomad? They were all 2 door wagons. Although I believe all the Chevy 11/Nova wagons were 4 doors, Ford made Falcon wagons as either 2 or 4 door versions thru 64 or 65, and 2 door Chevelle wagons were made in 64 and 65. In fact Pat Brooks from the Seattle WA area here in Div. 6 ran a 64 Chevelle 2 door wagon in M& N/SA for several years.(He owns 2 of them). When I was a kid, my dad drove a 58 Ford 2 door Ranch Wagon, instead of having roll down windows where the rear doors would be on a 4 door version, the windows slide back. Not sure what Chevy and Pontiac did on their 2 door wagon windows.
