Yes, I did fail to mention that Joe was one of the three designated pair to run first. What I don't understand is why the officials did not pull the many cars that were already paired up and ready to go.

I know that rules are rules and we all know them, but a little common sense and courtesy towards the racer could have been easily applied with no time delay.
