I tell everyone with an Onan diesel generator that they *may* need to run a second 12 volt wire to the fuel pump because there are so many board failures on the fuel pump circuit.

Mine would do that and eventually quit. Ran a second power wire attached to a switch and it works perfectly. Much cheaper than $800 for a circuit board and works forever.
