I don`t run a radial, but to make my M/T 9x29 1/2s fit my 85 Mustang required a lot of slicing, folding and hammering, especially at the front of the wheel opening.On my car, 8" Welds with 5 1/2" back space needed 1/4 " spacer, I then bought 9" wide Welds, still with 5 1/2" back space, they gave enough room the spacers weren`t needed.
