Good Morning!
Stock just got its first round of qualifying in the books. I ran toward the front of the session and made it back in time to snag a couple of pictures from the starting line and staging lanes.
Weather-wise my AltaLab showed a 30.00" baro., 60 deg., 80%, .423", and 350' AA. Wind was between 5-8 mph and was a direct headwind. I was about .05-.06 off what I thought the car would run when I left the pits. I talked to a couple other guys that also thought they'd run quicker than they did.
Couple of guys pulled some BIG wheelstands. Jesse Sanderson got vertical in his G/SA '73 Dart right in front of me. Two guys I know of had mechanical issues: Jeff Jerome and Jim Durham. Hope those guys can get them back together and that the damage isn't too bad.
