I don't think "entitlement" so please don't accuse me of that. I do think of it as part of a service package for racers who've patronized them with thousand$ over a span of many years. A simple courtesy of responding to my inquiries into their marketing/advertising strategy for the budget change would have helped. Despite their earnest efforts MotorManiaTV doesn't work for me because I personally don't have time to sit behind a computer all day. A concise reporting of the day's race is my preferred method of delivery for this service. And who the heck thinks that anything offered by any company is "FREE"?

Periodically some hapless soul starts a thread along the lines of "Where the heck is DRC?" implying they have somehow been let down by Larry and his merry band of DRC reporters (since they obviously missed the very detailed thread that laid it all out). They deserve the answer that Summit redirected the budgetary support elsewhere. I appreciate what DRC does with the budget sponsorship provided by D4's Sunset Engines and the D6's Woodburn Dragstrip and others. I'm quite sure that pulling all the feeds from tracks at days end in lieu of having a live reporter is a arduous task and I think DRC deserves a great deal of thanks despite the budget cutbacks. They don't deserve "where the heck is DRC".
