From a bracket racing perspective, contact either Blue Streak or ATI. Every combo is different. Who is telling you it is too loose? Some guy in the pits or your engine builder. I wouldnt listen to either of them. Marty Rinehart hooked me up with my ATI TreeMaster and I havent looked back.

You will need to know your approx peak torque RPM and then they can work with your existing ET incrementals and car weight, etc. Some converter mfrs include 1 free re-stall within xx days, so you can make an adjustment if you need one.
You get what you pay for....avoid the freaky stuff
