Default Re: 2 NHRA LODRS Events in 1 Weekend

The one thing about a double LODRS in one weekend would be car count and schedule. A Division 1 race, for example. 500 total cars is not out of the question. An oildown or two, an accident or two, and a day can be pushed way back. Add in the races around the country that add specialty classes (motorcycles, snowmobiles, etc). You almost would have to make it where NHRA classes ONLY for doubles (TA/D TA/FC, Comp, S/S, Stk, S/C, S/G and S/ST along with T/D and T/S). A double in Division 1 or 3 with a LOT of classes and a lot of cars would make run order, scheduling, etc a bit of a headache even IF things run smoothly. Add in downtime and weather and things could get messed up very easily. That would be the one hang-up potentially.
