Clutchless will only stay in high gear IF HELD IN GEAR when let off gas,if not holding in gear as soon as let off throttle trans goes to neutral, no way to put back in gear once it's out until car comes to a stop. 1st 2nd 3rd sliders/face plate are ramped on coast side to kick it out of gear, the way they work are as example when you shift to second slider engages and first gear hits ramps on coast side and disengages 1st gear, anytime when in any in gear except high gear and you let throttle or take load off trans it will kick it out of gear, and can't put it back, you always have your hand on shifter holding in gear, when trans is trying to come out of gear, the shifter will ratchet back and forth, can hold in if going slow, but faster car is moving faster shifter ratchets.
That is way LIberty's act and as far I know all clutchless do the same thing.
Hate to see Jeff's car wrecked glad he is OK ,he just went for scary ride at Bowling Green @ National open in May.
