Well we have been waiting around all day for them to put up a ladder and now it is up. They said only 62 cars went down, but they had 65 tech cards turned in. Just saw the ladder and 2 cars have been put on the bottom of the qualifying sheet that never went down the track. Larry just went up to find out what happened. With this being the last points race, a 62 car field is only 6 rounds with the winner only getting 95 and the runner up 84 points. With those 2 added at the end, it makes it a 7 round race with 105 and 94 points.
I thought you had to go down the track to get on the sheet. Those last 2 could get a grade point and 10 points for passing tech, but I thought you had to go down the track to get on the qualifying sheet. Anybody know for sure? I will let you know what Larry was told when he gets back.
By the way, I have met some really nice folks this weekend. Jimmy and Sandra Parker with Craig Couris's new corvette that will run AA/SA next year. Also saw Mr. Bigg this afternoon. Harold Culpepper and his grandson Wesley came over and ate ribs with us tonight. Talked to Cliff and Jana Riegle this afternoon.
Well more later.

A 64 car ladder is still 6 rounds. 65 to 128 would be 7 rounds.
The final qualifying lists for Stock and Super Stock didn't become official until the alky cars were running their second (final) qualifying round. That's why it took so long for them to show up on DRC. If I know there isn't going to be a clean-up round at an event, I'll wait until I get the official final list with an eliminations ladder.
I usually don't get involved in the rules and procedures that pertain to what is or is not in play concerning discretionary entry qualifications by the Div Director, but given my experience with rain-shortened divisional events, I don't see anything unusual with what Bill did in either Stock or Super Stock at this event.
...the only unusual thing at this event (for me at least) is, my data feed works right for every class except the .90 classes. I'll be doing those by hand from sheets and run logs for eliminations. A piece of cake considering I had 802 cars at the bracket finals in Vegas last weekend!
